Finance Manager – Tech Start / Scale up

Salary dependent on experience level up to R900k per year

Hybrid working - Cape Town (several days office based)

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Finance Manager to take ownership of day-to-day financial operations, compliance, and process improvement within a fast-growing, mission-led global organisation.

You’ll manage core finance functions including reporting, accounts receivable / payable, payroll oversight , and automation initiatives , ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across multiple markets.

Essentially this role is to take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations; managing invoices, payments, and reconciliations-keeping everything running smoothly and accurately behind the scenes.- and as such, requires previous experience of exactly this!

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and annual financial closings, reconciliations, and audit preparation.
• Manage invoicing, payments, and collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Supervise payroll and ensure compliance with local accounting regulations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes.
