Job descriptionRPO Recruitment’s client, leading and well-established Quantity Surveying firm based in Johannesburg is seeking a Candidate Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who is looking to grow within a reputable firm and gain exposure to high-profile projects. Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation. Support the senior QS team in cost planning, contract administration, and project cost control. Conduct measurements, valuations, and progress assessments. Liaise with contractors, clients, and consultants throughout all project stages. Prepare and review financial reports, variation orders, and final accounts. Ensure compliance with industry standards, contractual requirements, and quality procedures. BSc (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised institution Registered as a Candidate Quantity Surveyor with SACQSP Minimum 3–5 years’ post-graduate experience on commercial, mixed-use, or similar projects Proficiency in WinQS, DimensionX, and MS Office Strong understanding of construction contracts (JBCC, FIDIC, NEC, etc.) Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills A proactive, detail-oriented, and team-focused approach Building / Construction jobs
