Introduction

MANCOSA, a DHET registered and CHE accredited private higher education institution, offering accredited formal programmes, has the following vacancies available in Cape Town. The purpose of this sales position is to manage a sales team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of market share in the corporate training market.

CORE FUNCTIONS

  • Manage the sales team to achieve sales targets for short learning programmes and formal learning programmes.
  • Provide direction to the team in terms of relevant action plans to ensure maximum lead conversion and activities to promote the programme offering.
  • Secure opportunities to promote the programme offering to key decision makers in the corporate market.
  • Track all client engagement on CRM to manage lead conversion for the sales team and derive action plans to ensure high conversion amongst the sales team.
  • Ability to present training solutions to corporate clientele.
  • An understanding of the SETA skills matrix and BBBEE scorecard for skills development.
  • An understanding of corporate training programmes.

QUALIFICATION (S)

  • Qualification in Marketing is advantageous.
  • Leadership programme.
  • Relevant sales and marketing programme.
  • EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a business-to-business sales leadership environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience within a sales environment.
  • An understanding and experience of the business-to-business market.
  • Hold the appropriate public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Administrative skills and report writing.
  • RELATED KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail and sound time management skills.
  • Well-versed in sales and marketing.
  • Understanding of the corporate training environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Consulting and engaging with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Statistical efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Planning, organising and negotiating skills.
  • Integrity and honesty.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Creative and innovative.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Additional Requirements :

  • Will be required to work overtime.
  • Will be required to travel.
  • Will be required to work weekends.
  • Will be required to have a valid driver's license.
