Job Title : Jnr Admitted Attorney – Litigation

Location : Bedfordview - Johannesburg

Salary : R18 000 - R20 000 CTC per month, plus incentives, depending on experience

Benefits : Will be discussed in the interview

Vacancy Type : Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required :

LLB degree or equivalent.
Must be an Admitted Attorney with right of appearance in the High Court.
Minimum 3+ years' post-admission experience in litigation.
Strong drafting experience.
Valid driver's license and own car, as travel to court and clients is required.
Proven experience in drafting legal documents, contracts, and opinions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Residency in Johannesburg or East Rand is essential.

Beneficial requirements :

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Duties and responsibilities :

Handle a wide range of litigation matters, including but not limited to civil litigation, motion practice, and trial work.

Assist with estate planning, wills, trusts, and estate administration.

Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, contracts, and opinions.

Appear in court and advocate on behalf of clients.

Negotiate and settle disputes.

Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals.

Manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines.

Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and case law.

Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
