Job description
  • Conduct special surface and underground operations.
  • Tactically respond to incidents on surface and underground.
  • Escorting of employees into underground operations.
  • Observe employees / contractors working inside high-risk areas.
  • Observation duties at high-risk areas.
  • Gathering of intelligence on illegal activities.

    • The suitable candidate shall have the following qualifications / attributes / skills :

    • PSIRA certification - Grade A
    • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
    • Must be able to pass all underground medical requirements.
    • Underground experience of a Gold mine is compulsory.
    • Business, Firearm competency handgun, shotgun and self-loading rifle.
    • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
    • The ability to work under pressure.
    • Willing to work long hours when required doing so.
    • Willing to work extended night shifts.
    • Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record.
    • Drivers licence and driving competent.
    • Valid Code 10 drivers license will be an advantage.
    • Must relocate to company provided accommodation.
