Duties & Responsibilities

Job Description

Our client seeks an Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2 years post-article experience for their practice located in the East Rand.

The firm’s current services relate mostly to :

• All aspects of Family law,
• General litigation (lease agreements, evictions and claims for damages in motor vehicle recoveries for insurance companies, maintenance court and domestic violence court appearances).
• Wills and trust and deceased estates – general knowledge.

As such, we are seeking individuals with a solid broad knowledge of and experience in the above areas of law. The ideal candidate must be fully familiar with High, Regional and Magistrates court practice directives, Caselines and court online .

We are seeking an individual who can and will work independently, unattended or supervised and get the work done.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications

LLB Degree obtained from one of the bigger, recognized Universities in South Africa.

Skills

2+ Years Post-Articles Experience. Stable and solid track record. Dependable and Reliable. Able to work independently and get work done with minimal supervision. Own car and willing to travel. Knowledge of GhostPractice will be an advantage. Must be fully familiar with High, Regional and Magistrates court practice directives, Caselines and court online.

Package & Remuneration

Salary / Package

R25,000-R35,000 Cost to Company per month dependent on experience. Negotiable.
