Junior Designer - Digital & Print (JB5527) – Location : Melrose Arch, Johannesburg, Gauteng. Salary : R15 000 - R20 000 per month. Employment Type : Permanent. Workplace : In-Office.

As a Junior Designer, you’ll work across digital and print projects supporting campaigns, crafting visual assets, and collaborating closely with a creative and data-driven marketing team. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone curious, detail-focused and enthusiastic about growing in the design space.

Minimum Requirements

Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or similar (or equivalent work experience).
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
Familiarity with basic video or animation tools (e.g. After Effects, Premiere Pro).
Understanding of typography, colour theory, layout and composition.
Comfortable designing for both print and digital.
Comfortable using PowerPoint and Canva.
Portfolio showcasing your creative work using Adobe tools.
Strong organisational, time management and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and use constructive feedback.

Key Responsibilities

Design graphics and layouts for social media, presentations, print and branding.

Assist senior designers on key projects and follow brand guidelines.

Retouch images and prep artwork for production.

Join creative brainstorming sessions and bring fresh ideas to life.

Support internal teams with PowerPoint and Canva design work.

Participate in design reviews and respond constructively to feedback.
