Project Manager (Design + Procurement Lead) (Junior to Senior)

About the Client :

We design and build SMART spaces, specializing in :

Architecture & Interior Design
End-to-End Construction & Fit-Out
Building Compliance (Occupation Certificates)

We craft spaces that reflect a brands identity, culture, and workflow balancing stunning design with practical compliance, landlord regulations, and Cape Towns building standards. By analysing client interactions, movement, and business needs, they create optimized, beautiful environments tailored to each brand.

Purpose : To manage turnkey interior projects across all 7 stages from client brief to handover while coordinating design, procurement, contractor management, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities :

Own full project lifecycle : charter, cost, compliance, execution

Work with Lead Designer to align design intent and budget

Oversee procurement timelines and contractor scopes

Coordinate site meetings, QA / QC, and reporting

Monitor cost engineering, risk logs, and progress updates

Requirements :

5+ years in interior or construction project management

Experience with Buildertrend, Excel, and budget tools

Strong client communication and reporting discipline

Qualifications and Professional Bodies :

Diploma / Degree in Project or Construction Management

Member of SACPCMP or PMI (PMP designation beneficial)

Salary (Monthly, ZAR) :

Junior : R20,000 - R30,000

Mid-Level : R35,000 - R45,000

Senior : R50,000+
