Requirements

Matric.

Qualified mechanic (or similar).

2+ years workshop experience in transport / logistics.

2+ years working on tautliner and / or tipper trailers.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Able to operate heavy machinery.

Computer-literate and detail-driven.

Medically fit.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support workshop & wash bay staff.

Handle hiring, training, scheduling, and task allocation.

Oversee repairs, maintenance, and quality checks on trailers.

Process work orders and job cards accurately.

Maintain safety standards and keep the workspace clean and compliant.

Manage stock, supplies, and basic admin.

Step in with technical work when needed.
