Plant Manager Expat

Our client is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead and optimize operations at their meat processing facility.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of plant operations including production quality control maintenance and safety.

Develop and implement production plans to meet business objectives and customer demands.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations as well as food safety standards.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.

Implement cost‑saving initiatives and process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.

Manage plant budgets including labor, materials and overhead costs.

Lead, train and mentor plant staff to ensure a high‑performance team environment.

Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.

Maintain accurate production records and prepare regular reports for senior management.

Address any operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management or a related field is preferred.

A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a plant management role within the meat processing industry.
