Role Description

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team full‑time in Cape Town. You’ll take the lead on developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and brand awareness across multiple client accounts. This role is hands‑on and creative — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced agency environment and knows how to turn concepts into compelling content.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing effective social media strategies for multiple brands.
  • Managing day‑to‑day posting, scheduling, and community interaction.
  • Analysing campaign performance, tracking KPIs, and reporting insights.
  • Staying ahead of trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats.
  • Collaborating with our creative and strategy teams to align visuals and messaging.
  • Optimising client social media profiles for maximum reach and impact.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in social media marketing and strategy execution.
  • Strong communication and copywriting skills with a creative edge.
  • Ability to design and manage content calendars.
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite, Canva, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of paid social, engagement growth, and influencer collaboration.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills — able to juggle multiple brands.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • A proactive, self‑motivated mindset and passion for digital trends.
