Job description
  • Ensure the efficient and effective delivery on all legislated, developmental and technical training requirements.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective training programs, including needs analysis, lesson planning, and content creation.
  • Design and implement a training plan aligned with the organisational design requirements and relevant South African legislative requirements. In particular the EE plan of the business.
  • Deliver classroom-based and virtual training across branches and dealerships nationally.
  • Ensure good corporate governance regarding management and use of all external training service providers.
  • Ensure professional and effective service to customers and all cross functional activities and ability to communicate with global and local stakeholders to fully meet the required training outputs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presentations, training materials, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to motivate, guide, and manage a team of trainers or trainees.
  • Ensure effective administration and reporting on all matters relating to training.
  • A good understanding of the Education Act, Skills development Act, Employment Equity Act and relevant regulations.
  • Obtain and maintain SD certification and co-ordinate all SETA grant submissions timeously to obtain benefit of required grants and skills development benefits.
  • Coordinate career development and career aspirations of CNH into individual skills development actions plans and pathways.
  • Ensure requirements of the existing collective agreements for the industry are complied with regard to training programmes and all training programmes align with operational requirements.
  • Clear understanding of training and developmental goals to develop and implement training allied to the business Employment Equity plan and future BBBEE accreditation within the business
  • Project management of training related systems and integration into existing systems and Success factors. Managing multiple projects, timelines, and training programs simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify training needs, evaluate program effectiveness, and adapt training strategies based on data and feedback. Problem solving and creative thinking.
  • Engage in workforce planning activities which is linked to business objectives (such as headcount management)
  • Lead and implement end-to-end recruitment strategies and processes for all occupational levels, ensuring attraction and appointment of high-calibre talent aligned with workforce plans.
  • Support line managers and conduct, operationally, the interviews, selection processes and appointment approvals.
  • Partner with external agencies to build talent pipelines and source, select and place appropriately.
  • Ensure compliance with Employment Equity legislation, analysing data to identify recruitment opportunities and ensuring internal process and system updates.
  • Oversees and implement day-to-day HR administration, policies, and systems to ensure smooth and consistent delivery of HR services.
  • Ensure employee remuneration is in line with market related salaries (including internal benchmarking).
  • Recording and analysing data on best practices with regards to retention, attraction and remuneration approaches.
  • Working closely and coordinating activities with Human Resource Business Managers and Partners in a Matrix Organisation.
