Job descriptionGrade 12 / Standard 10 Certificate. Certificate : Store Keeping & Stock Control. Code 08 (B) Driver’s Licence. Forklift Driver’s License Advantageous : Supervisory Certificate. 2 year’s Stores / Material Management in a Plant / Mining environment. Coordinate and supervise the issuing and receiving functions of the Stores section as well as housekeeping and preservation of the stock. Effectively solve and report queries related to the Issuing Sections. Generate reports regarding stock levels and un-actioned pick slips. Support the receiving / issuing of the Store section. Monitor the availability of stock items in the stores for the purpose of production needs. Ensure correct storage and handling requirements for spares and equipment according to procedures. Assist in coordinating Receiving / Issuing of stock items according to processes and procedures. Reconcile and update all Issuing documentation. Coordinate cycle counts. Minimize and resolve cycle count variances. Reconcile physical balance with JDE balance for all stock. Ensure effective financial controls are applied. Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained. Perform PTO’s and issuebased risk assessments as and when required. Ensure mine-wide availability of fuel. Supervise own team’s activities whilst ensuring safe working practices. Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure good working relationships.
