Based : Edenvale

Salary : R35 – 40 000.00 pm

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced PPC / Paid Media Specialist / Search Engine Marketing Specialist to join their marketing team. The successful candidate will manage and optimise paid media campaigns across Google, Facebook / Instagram, TikTok, and email marketing platforms. This role requires a strategic, analytical thinker with a passion for digital marketing and a proven track record of driving results.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ digital marketing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
  • Digital marketing certification (Google, Facebook, Udemy, etc.).
  • WordPress, WooCommerce, or Shopify experience.
  • SEO knowledge.
  • Lead generation experience.

Core Skills (Must Have)

  • Facebook Business Manager : Campaign setup, A / B testing, retargeting, Pixel / Conversions API, custom conversions, catalogue sync, Advantage+.
  • Google MCC & Merchant Centre : Onboarding, bid adjustments, PMAX campaigns, keyword research, budget allocation, retargeting.
  • TikTok Business Manager : Campaign setup, A / B testing, catalogue sync, conversions / events setup.
  • Email Marketing (Klaviyo or similar) : List management, segmentation, flow building.
  • Proficiency with UTM setup and campaign tracking.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills.
  • Soft Skills (Must Have)

  • Analytical and creative mindset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage client expectations.
  • Results-driven with problem-solving ability to pivot strategies when needed.
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, launch, and optimise paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook / Instagram, TikTok, and email platforms.
  • Monitor and analyse performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve ROI.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience targeting.
  • Collaborate with creative teams on engaging ad copy and creatives.
  • Manage budgets, bids, and campaign pacing to maximise effectiveness.
  • Generate performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Stay current with paid media and digital marketing trends, testing new strategies and ad formats.
  • Align paid media activities with broader marketing strategies.
