Electrical / Plant Technician

Our client, who is currently benchmarking the packaging industry, has a Next-Step-Opportunity for an experienced Electrical / Electronic Technician. This role involves installing, replacing, examining, repairing, and testing all electrical and electronic machinery and components and have a solid understanding of machine safety components and high risks present in and around the production plant.  Responsibilities will include installation, maintenance, and repairs on fast moving production machinery, machine optimisation, planned preventative maintenance, and ensuring production efficiency.

Requirements :

National Diploma / N6 Electrical Studies

Red Seal Trade Test – Electrician

Minimum 4 years’ experience on fast moving production machinery

Knowledge of PLC’s

Valid SA Driver’s License and own transport
