Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of technicians and electricians responsible for generator and transformer maintenance.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and preventative maintenance plans .
- Monitor performance of generators and transformers , troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate repairs efficiently.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of parts, equipment, and technical services.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and mitigate operational risks.
- Ensure full compliance with electrical safety regulations, occupational health standards, and company policies .
- Maintain accurate equipment logs, maintenance reports, and performance documentation .
- Train new staff and provide ongoing development in generator and transformer operations .
- Communicate effectively with property managers, facilities teams, and technical staff .
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in generator and transformer maintenance.
Qualifications & Requirements
Technical degree or certification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.Minimum of 3 years experience in generator and transformer maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting .Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and power systems .Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints .Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills .Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities .Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexible hours.Willingness to be on-call for emergencies .Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.Why Join Our Client?
