Job Description

The Lead Enterprise Architect is a delivery leader of the Enterprise Architecture team that operationally leads EA planning, delivery, and performs key execution. The role will also focus on building and maturing capabilities, providing planning support, insights, and forecasting to the strategic direction of Enterprise Architecture, and driving EA governance and control of the architecture. Problems are complex and open-ended, affecting more than one area of the business. Solutions need to be determined through consultation with other areas of the business.

• Standards and Best Practices
• Technical Evaluations & Assessments
• EA Leadership
• Strategy Consulting & Alignment
• Definition, implementation, and execution of processes for the definition, maintenance, and conformance management of the Enterprise Architecture
• Update and maintenance of key Enterprise Architecture deliverables
• Establishment and maintenance of contacts within business units and information system programs to understand business activities, drivers, requirements, solutions, strategies, and alternatives being considered or implemented
• Architectural leadership in resolving inter-program and inter-project issues
• Ongoing publicity and communication of the Enterprise Architecture within the information community and business units
• Ongoing research and assessment of new analysis approaches for potential use within the Enterprise
