Machine Builder – Assembler

SUMMARY :

Our client in Bellville is seeking an experienced Machine Builder / Assembler to join their team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a factory environment, specifically in machine building and assembly. Applicants should be physically fit, able to climb ladders, stairs, and working at heights, and possess strong computer skills. A focus on safety is crucial, with prior safety training preferred. The role requires own transport for regular and overtime shifts. Essential qualifications include an N4 Mechanical qualification, Fitter / Millwright Artisan certification, and training in safety (NOSA), forklift operation, and MIG / TIG welding.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a factory environment, with experience as a Machine Builder / Assembler
• Must be healthy and fit for climbing ladders, stairs, pedestals, and working at heights
• Computer literate
• Safety conscious; previous safety course preferred
• Own transport required for regular and overtime work
• N4 Mechanical qualification, qualified Fitter / Millwright Artisan, with safety (NOSA), forklift, and MIG / TIG welding courses
