  • We have an incredible opportunity for a MARKETING COORDINATOR for 6 months at Indigo Brands in Epping, Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible to assist the Marketing Department in the planning and operational execution of the various brands’ strategies through coordinating brand activities and facilitating communication with various internal and external sources.

Reporting Structure :

Reports to : Marketing Manager

Key Areas of Impact :

Administrative Assistance

  • Ensure the smooth running of the overall marketing department through administrative assistance like raising purchase orders, coordinating meeting requirements and other details.
  • Assist in preparing presentations.
  • Updating activity plans.
  • Complete Office product pass out requests.
  • General administration support to the team as required.
  • Retailer and Sales Assistance

  • Provide support to the department by coordinating retailer samples.
  • Provide all digital content to retailers.
  • Brand Support

  • Support the Brand Managers with internal artwork approvals.
  • Responsible for coordinating and updating the brand history records.
  • Request product images from the photographer.
  • Save and manage the photo image library on the shared drive.
  • Manage online filing for relevant brand content.
  • Coordinating shoot requirements including product and other elements needed for various shoots.
  • Coordinate marketing elements including banners and other marketing elements.
  • Maintain and manage product and material in the marketing store room.
  • Order and manage the stock cupboards.
  • Pack and arrange office product flows.
  • Complete Competitor pricing updates and arrange couriers and collections.
  • Public Relations Support

  • Assist in compiling competitions and giveaways.
  • Assist in executing media drops for relevant product launches that meet marketing objectives.
  • Manage beauty brief requests and manage request with the relevant Brand Manager.
  • Ordering product for media kits and wrap and pack up media kits.
  • What It Takes to Succeed :

    Experience that set you up for success :

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within an Administration function
  • Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success :

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • A Marketing Degree or Diploma would be advantageous
  • Additional Requirements that will enhance your impact for success :

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Knowledge of marketing processes
  • Strong numerical ability
