Quality Controller

A reputable and established steel manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Quality Controller with a strong background in the steel industry to join their team in Rustenburg Gauteng. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet strict quality standards and specifications throughout the production process.

Responsibilities :

Conduct inspections of raw materials in-process components and finished goods

Identify and report non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented

Maintain and update quality control documentation and reports

Work closely with production teams to uphold quality assurance processes

Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality protocols

Calibrate and maintain measuring instruments and testing equipment

Assist in internal and external audits related to quality management systems

Provide training and support to production staff on quality procedures and best practices

Requirements :

Minimum 35 years of quality control experience in the steel or metal manufacturing industry

Strong knowledge of quality assurance systems and methodologies

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Relevant tertiary qualification or certification in quality or engineering is advantageous
