A forward-thinking automotive group based in Sandton is looking for a hands-on Working Foreman to lead and support our workshop technical team. This role is ideal for a qualified technician with a passion for high-quality workmanship, leadership, and driving team performance in a fast-paced, digitally integrated environment.

Minimum Requirements :

Matric with formal technical qualifications

Valid driver's license

3 to 5 years of experience as a qualified technician

Prior experience in team leadership or quality control

Background in corporate dealerships and volume brands

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise and coach workshop technicians to meet daily output and quality targets

Diagnose and repair vehicles to OEM standards

Ensure job card accuracy, quality control, and warranty compliance

Manage workshop workflow, clockings, and productivity reporting

Oversee pre-delivery inspections and final quality checks

Maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient workshop environment

Provide hands-on technical assistance and mentoring to junior staff

Key Competencies :

Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

High attention to detail and time management

Proven leadership and training abilities

Proficient in interpreting service manuals, wiring diagrams, and OEM standards

Familiarity with automotive platforms and digital tools
