About the Company - A fast-growing direct-to-consumer brand in the health & wellness space is seeking a talented Video Editor to transform user- and creator-generated content (UGC / CGC) into highly engaging, high-performing short-form ad creatives for platforms such as TikTok and Meta.

About the Role - The ideal candidate is performance-minded, creative, and experienced in producing compelling 15–30 second ads that grab attention quickly and convert effectively. If you thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and understand what makes content go viral, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Edit long-form user / creator content into 15–30 second ad creatives for paid media campaigns.
  • Identify strong hooks and key value propositions within the first few seconds of footage.
  • Apply text overlays, motion graphics, and dynamic transitions to increase retention and impact.
  • Stay on top of evolving platform trends and storytelling techniques for short-form video on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Use performance feedback to iterate and refine creatives regularly.
  • Work closely with marketing and media buying teams to understand KPIs, performance data, and creative testing strategies.
  • Adjust pacing, visuals, and messaging based on A / B testing outcomes and audience behavior insights.
  • Proactively suggest creative variations to improve return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Partner with UGC and influencer teams to repurpose raw footage into strategic marketing assets.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers to align video output with branding, templates, and visual identity.
  • Contribute to building a library of evergreen and campaign-specific ad creatives.

Qualifications - 2+ years of video editing experience, ideally in a performance marketing or eCommerce setting.

Required Skills

  • Strong ability to repurpose long-form CGC / UGC into high-converting short-form content.
  • Deep understanding of short-form video trends, pacing, and structure for social platforms.
  • Skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or equivalent software.
  • Proven track record of producing high-engagement video ads.
  • Familiarity with performance metrics and creative testing methodologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, content-heavy production cycle.
  • A compelling portfolio demonstrating editing expertise in paid media or branded short-form video.
