Customer-centric mindset with the ability to manage difficult claims. Strong prioritisation and time management skills. Flexible and adaptive to business change. High-level understanding of interdependencies with functions such as Underwriting, Legal, Finance, and Reinsurance. Internal : Work closely with Claims, Underwriting, and other internal stakeholders. External : Liaise with customers, brokers, intermediaries, suppliers, and participate in customer meetings to support retention and proposition development.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop claim strategies to assign reserves, conduct investigations, and engage appropriate suppliers.
- Assess claims value using evidence and identify fraud or recovery opportunities.
- Finalise claims within authority limits, ensuring optimal settlement outcomes.
- Engage with reinsurers and global claims teams for high-value cases.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and governance throughout the claim lifecycle.
- Follow customer-specific protocols and service charters to meet expectations.
