Operations Manager - 0734 - Cape Town, South Africa

This role is with a full-service digital marketing agency focused on helping painting business owners increase sales, improve customer retention, and boost profitability through online marketing solutions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Oversee daily agency operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
  • Develop and implement workflows, systems, and processes to improve productivity across teams.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align priorities, resources, and client deliverables.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights to leadership for operational improvement.
  • Manage schedules, workload distribution, and resource allocation across the agency.
  • Implement quality control processes to maintain consistency and excellence in client deliverables.
  • Lead team check-ins, operational reviews, and provide performance reports to leadership.
  • Research and recommend tools or technologies to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop SOPs to ensure consistency across all projects.

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of operations management experience, preferably within a digital marketing agency.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, Paid Media, Social Media, and related marketing services.
  • Proven experience in process optimization, workflow management, and resource planning.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with project management and time-tracking tools (Asana, Monday.com, Time Doctor, or similar).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
