Heat Treatment Operator – Industrial Blades – East RandMinimum requirements :

• Matric or equivalent
• Metallurgy qualification highly advantageous
• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ Heat Treatment Operator experience
• Reside on the East Rand
• Ability to travel to and from work on own accordJob Purpose :
• Follow all instructions as per the job card.
• Double check temperatures and times for different materials on the job card.
• Place material in the furnace with care, monitor and take out at the correct times.
• Quench all blades in oil after heat treatment if required.
• Check blades to determine if the need to be clamped in the press or anvil.
• Count all blades before and after the heat treatment process.
• Weigh all jobs and record the correct weight on the job card and in the weight book.
• Check that the job number correlates to that on-the-job card.
• Check and record pitch movements as and when required.
• Check gas and oil weekly and report shortages immediately.
• Attend to heat treatment documentation to be completed.
• Ensure Compliance with all Health and Safety ProceduresSalary offer : Negotiable dependant on skills and experience
