Base Pay Range

ZAR40,000.00 / yr - ZAR60,000.00 / yr

The Role

We are seeking a Sales Manager - Southern Africa to lead and grow our luxury safari sales across Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, and Madagascar . This is a flagship leadership role with strategic responsibility for developing regional sales initiatives, managing key accounts, and collaborating across departments to ensure exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive sales targets for the Southern Africa region, ensuring consistent growth and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with luxury lodges, tour operators, and key partners in the region.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals, including market expansion and high-value client acquisition.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to align product offerings and ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Mentor, support, and guide sales consultants working in the region.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in luxury travel or safari sales, ideally with a focus on Southern Africa.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in strategic planning and regional growth.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using CRM systems and digital sales tools.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and responsible tourism practices in Southern Africa is a plus.
