Job Title : Travel Consultant (Air & Non-Air)

Job Purpose

The Travel Consultant is responsible for handling and coordinating all aspects of air and non-air travel arrangements, including car rentals, hotel bookings, transfers, rail tickets, visa assistance, and travel insurance. The role focuses on ensuring a smooth travel experience for clients by providing efficient, accurate, and cost-effective solutions while maintaining high levels of customer service.

Manage and process reservations for non-air travel services (accommodation, car hire, transfers, rail, cruises, and related services).

Provide clients with accurate information, quotations, and advice on travel products, destinations, and alternatives.

Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible rates and availability.

Handle amendments, cancellations, and special requests promptly and effectively.

Issue vouchers, itineraries, and documentation for non-air services.

Assist with travel-related documentation such as visas, insurance, and foreign exchange referrals where applicable.

Ensure all bookings are correctly invoiced and payments are processed in line with company policies.

Maintain client profiles and ensure travel preferences are recorded and updated.

Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to queries and resolving complaints professionally.

Stay updated on industry trends, supplier offerings, and company policies.

Strong knowledge of non-air travel products (hotels, ground transport, rail, car hire, etc.).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Customer service–oriented with attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Qualifications & Experience

Travel and Tourism diploma or equivalent certification (preferred).
