Accountant

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare accurate financial reports and statements (IFRS-compliant).
  • Manage fixed assets, debtors, and creditors.
  • Reconcile payments, balances, stock, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Oversee expense control and risk management at branch level.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly journals; maintain general ledger accuracy.
  • Review stock counts and monitor cash sales in parts / workshop.
  • Control branch financial activities and ensure adherence to policies.
  • Support junior staff and proactively suggest accounting improvements.

Minimum Requirements :

  • BCom Degree in Accounting (or similar).
  • Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience, preferably in the motor industry.
  • Code 8 driver’s license.
