Overview

IT Recruiter (Candidate-Focused, Delivery Support)

Location : Remote (Must be available during Irish working hours)

Contract Type : Full Time (39 hours per week)

Contract Duration : Initial 12-month contract, with potential for extension

Compensation : Paid on an hourly basis XXXXXXXXXX

To support our growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Recruiter to join our team.

About the Role

This role is focused on candidate delivery and recruitment support rather than business development. You will work directly under a Principal Recruiter, assisting with account management, candidate sourcing, recruitment administration, and sales support tasks.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and experienced in recruiting across a broad range of IT skill sets. You will be comfortable using modern recruitment tools and platforms, have excellent communication skills, and play an integral role in ensuring the smooth running of recruitment processes.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing & Recruitment Delivery

  • Source, engage, and qualify candidates across multiple IT disciplines (e.g., .NET, Java, C++, mobile, testing, DevOps, project management, product management, business analysis).
  • Build and manage candidate pipelines through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking.
  • Conduct initial screenings, gather references, and support interview coordination.
  • Assist in managing the full candidate lifecycle, ensuring a high-quality experience.

Recruitment Administration & Sales Support

  • Format CVs / resumes for client submission.
  • Add and maintain candidate and job leads in the ATS (experience with Bullhorn highly desirable).
  • Support visa and compliance processes (with training provided).
  • Provide administrative support to recruiters and the wider business as required.
  • Social Media & Branding

  • Contribute to social media posting and strategy to promote roles and employer branding.
  • Support marketing and engagement campaigns to attract top talent.
  • Technology & Tools

  • Effectively use LinkedIn Recruiter for candidate sourcing, outreach, campaigns, and AI-assisted searches.
  • Stay up to date with recruitment technology trends and leverage tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a recruiter or resourcer within IT / technology.
  • Strong experience sourcing software developers and IT professionals across multiple technologies.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms (Bullhorn preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Skilled in LinkedIn Recruiter and candidate engagement strategies.
  • Ability to support multiple stakeholders, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
  • Interest in learning immigration and visa processes related to recruitment.
