Location : Gauteng (travel nationally as required)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on crushing, screening, and earthmoving equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, inspections, and scheduled services to OEM standards.
- Carry out mechanical assembly, hydraulics, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Provide field-based support to clients, ensuring minimal downtime and effective problem resolution.
- Document service work accurately and provide detailed feedback to technical and service teams.
- Train and support clients technical teams on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
- Uphold the Companys safety standards and compliance protocols on all job
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment, specifically earthmoving / crushing machinery.Proficiency in maintenance, diagnostics, and mechanical assembly.Ability to isolate and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.Problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset with a hands-on approach.Excellent communication and client interaction skills.Safety-focused with a high attention to detail.Qualifications & Experience
Mechanical Engineering or Trade Certificate (Earthmoving Equipment, Millwright, or related).36+ years hands-on experience with OEM equipment (e.g., Wirtgen, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Bell, Volvo, or similar).Previous experience on capital equipment within mining, quarrying, or construction industries advantageousValid drivers license essential.Willingness to travel and work on-site with clients across South AfricaPersonal Attributes
