Job descriptionType of qualification : Engineering Degree 2 Years of experience required Proficiency in certain applications / computer programmes Essential : AutoCAD SolidWorks CATIA. Preferred : Simulation software (MSC One Ansys) Sound knowledge of : Design and Implementation thereof Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles materials and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with military standards and regulations regarding weapons and defense equipment. Ability to perform detailed tolerance checks stress analysis and material selection. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality accurate drawings and designs. Ability to listen to feedback while standing firm on well-founded design decisions. Passion for design and problem-solving. Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team. Self-driven and goal-oriented. Interest in the defense industry. Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment Develop detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings for Weapons and their components. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that designs meet safety performance and regulatory standards. Create 2D and 3D CAD models and technical schematics using CAD software. Prepare manufacturing documentation including assembly instructions parts lists and technical specifications. Ensure that all designs meet the companys quality standards and are produced within project timelines. Perform design analysis including tolerance checks stress analysis and material selection.
