Key Responsibilities
Ensure accurate and timely financial and management reporting.Analyse and interpret financial data to support business decision-making.Monitor and report on sales, targets, productivity, and profitability.Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.Oversee fixed assets, inventory levels, and obsolete stock management.Manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts.Control and approve expenditure and capital budgets.Ensure effective stock-taking procedures and compliance.Monitor debtors and liaise with legal advisors for collections.Improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls.Implement internal and external audit recommendations.Manage sales pricing, imports, and stock planning at plant level.Support marketers with quotations and customer queries.Perform costing calculations of overheads and labour rates for use in BOMs.Monitor price variances on a monthly basis.Use SAP and MS Office for reporting and operational tasks.Identify training needs and improve process efficiency.Requirements
3–5 years of relevant experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis.BCom in AccountingCompletion of SAIPA or SAICA articlesBeneficial : CIMA qualification (Management Accountant)Agricultural industry exposure (advantageous).SAP and system integration knowledge.Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.Analytical and critical thinking.Strong time management and organizational abilities.Clear and effective communication.Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.Planning and execution focus.Resilience and stress management.Accounting / Financial Services jobs
