Why This Role Exists
Hi, we’re Scale Army. We’re on a mission to build a predictable, data-driven outbound engine. Right now, that engine doesn’t exist—and we need you to build it. You’ll take charge of the entire outbound system : from lead sourcing and sequencing to multi-channel automation and reporting. You’ll integrate and connect tools like Apollo, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Instantly, LinkedIn automation, and dialers, ensuring everything works seamlessly together.
We’re comfortable working with Clay and setting up AI agents or automations (e.g., n8N). You’ll ensure SDRs and AEs are using one clean system, with zero data leaks. You’ll know exactly which channel, message, and ICP are driving results—and you’ll prove it with data.
While you’ll report to the Head of Sales, you’ll take full ownership of execution, testing, and iteration. You’ll bring solutions : “Here’s what’s working, here’s what’s not, and here’s what I need to fix it.”
Core Responsibilities
- Systems & Automation —fully integrate and operationalize the outbound tech stack : HubSpot, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Instantly, Clay, LinkedIn automation, and dialers.
- Automate data movement using HubSpot workflows and Zapier to eliminate manual tasks.
- Ensure there’s one accurate source of truth for leads, tasks, and reporting. Maintain
- Outbound Testing & Sequences —launch 5 outbound sequences across 3 distinct ICPs within the first 90 days; continuously A / B test messaging, timing, and channel combinations (email, LinkedIn, calls); track and report on effectiveness—reply rate, booked meetings, conversion by source.
- Reporting & Analysis —build and manage dashboards that clearly showcase what’s working and what’s not; track multi-touch attribution across calls, LinkedIn, and email; deliver clean, actionable reporting on outbound performance every week.
- Pipeline Targets —generate 30 qualified MQLs booked by the end of your first 90 days; enable SDRs to consistently book 8–10 meetings per week once systems are running.
Who You Are
You have 3+ years of experience in B2B outbound or sales operations.You’re an expert in HubSpot, Zapier, and Google Sheets / Excel.You live and breathe outbound systems, from setting up dialers to managing DKIM / SPF and building automation logic that doesn’t break.You’re self-sufficient—you can pull reports, spot issues, and fix them without needing direction.You’re passionate about clean data and can easily explain attribution logic.You’re both technical (able to debug integrations) and strategic (you know which levers move the pipeline).You thrive on accountability and are allergic to chaos and fluff.You’re entrepreneurial—you’ll proactively tell leadership what you need to succeed.What You Own
