Overview

Job Opportunity : IT Project Manager – Infrastructure

Location : Parktown, Gauteng (Onsite)

Contract Type : Permanent

Salary : R1 000 000 per annum (Medical Aid & Pension inclusive) + Performance Bonus

Closing Date : Friday, 7 November 2025

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage end-to-end IT infrastructure projects in line with Group IT methodologies.
  • Define, oversee, and track project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
  • Liaise with Business Analysts, Testers, Developers, and Solution Owners to coordinate delivery.
  • Ensure governance, documentation, and reporting are in place throughout project lifecycles.
  • Manage scope, risks, quality, and change control processes.
  • Oversee vendor and third-party project delivery, ensuring obligations are met.
  • Present progress updates to Project Steering Committees.
  • Support organizational change and smooth adoption of project outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ proven experience as an IT Project Manager within infrastructure environments.
  • Formal qualification(s) in Project Management (PMBOK, Prince2, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in project management tools and frameworks.
  • Strong facilitation, governance, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience managing projects across multiple divisions and business units.
  • Knowledge of organizational change management and transformation frameworks.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Technology.
  • Certifications in Agile / Scrum / Kanban .
  • Formal training in Agile methodologies.
  • IT Security and Infrastructure exposure (advantageous).

    Reporting To : Head of Infrastructure. Start Date : ASAP
