About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Accountant with strong billing experience to manage daily accounting operations and ensure monthly billings are accurate and timely. The ideal candidate has a background in construction or manufacturing, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can handle both tactical bookkeeping tasks and higher-level financial coordination with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable , including vendor bills, approvals, coding, and collections.
• Prepare and submit construction progress billings (AIA forms G702 and G703).
• Coordinate lien waiver collection and compliance documentation.
• Create and send invoices, track receipts, and reconcile payments.
• Support payroll preparation and journal entries .
• Maintain the general ledger and perform monthly reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly billing summaries , completed contract reports, and related spreadsheets.
• Work within QuickBooks Online and Energy (cloud-based ERP for woodworking) to maintain accurate data.
• Collaborate with the Controller and ownership team to deliver timely financial reporting and cash flow visibility.
• Assist with process cleanup, automation, and documentation to improve accuracy and speed.
