Job descriptionBEng / BSc in Chemical or Process Engineering (ECSA registration advantageous). 310 years in process engineering, ideally in pipelines, oil & gas, or industrial infrastructure. Solid experience in process safety engineering HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, and QRA. Proficiency in tools like Aspen HYSYS, PIPEPHASE, or AFT Impulse. Strong knowledge of engineering codes and standards. Excellent communication, documentation, and risk-based thinking.
Were looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Process Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary engineering team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of designing safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant process systems for large-scale infrastructure, including pipelines, gas distribution networks, and petrochemical facilities.

Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulic models, and process simulations.
- Perform equipment sizing, pipeline design, and process integration.
- Lead or participate in HAZOPs, LOPAs, SIL assessments, and risk reviews.
- Ensure compliance with local (SANS and OHSA) and international (API, ASME, and IEC) standards.
- Support EPCM project phases from design through commissioning.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that the design intent and safety are fully realised.
