Role Purpose :
Join a dynamic investment holding company focused on agricultural-related businesses. The company, through its subsidiaries, holds equity stakes in various agricultural operations, including intensive farming ventures such as dairy farming, feedlots, and abattoirs. Consisting of larger commercial businesses with a robust corporate culture, adhering to high standards of corporate governance, transparent reporting, and providing ongoing support to management in the day-to-day operations of its investments. With a focus on adequately capitalizing its investments, the company ensures the growth and maturation of its portfolio, ultimately maximizing the yield and long-term value of these investments. As the Accountant you will primarily be accountable for the following :
Skills and Qualifications :
- 4+ Relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
This is the fundamental educational requirement, providing the foundational knowledge in financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis.
Articles or experience at small audit / accounting practice beneficial or similar work experience
SAIPA / SAICA registration not requiredMS Office - Excel knowledgeResponsibilities :
