Job descriptionPerform daily site tasks related to ventilation system installation Follow and accurately execute instructions from the Site Manager Support the team in achieving project milestones, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols Monitor and report on progress and assist in resolving on-site issues Assist with the installation of galvanised ducting systems (Industrial heavy duty) including elbows, straight sections, and transformations Install industrial fans (axial and centrifugal) and related equipment Installation of system components e.g. extraction hoods, silencers, dampers, and duct supports as per layout drawings Installation of larger mechanical items such as cyclones, filter units, and other industrial plant equipment Assist with mechanical removal of existing equipment / systems where required Operate hand and power tools (drills, grinders, riveters, etc.) Work safely on scaffolding, elevated platforms and ladders Be adaptable and willing to take on a variety of site tasks as project requirements change A minimum of a matric certificate is required; a tertiary qualification will be considered an advantage Experience in mechanical, ventilation, or construction site work is an advantage Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings Valid driver’s license preferred Engineering / Technical jobs
