Account Director – Ivie Media Cape Town | Full-time | On‑site / Hybrid

Ivie Media is a strategic agency specialising in Above‑The‑Line (ATL) media. We work with high‑profile brands to deliver impactful media strategies and campaigns that drive measurable results.

What you'll do

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of high‑profile client accounts, acting as their trusted media partner.
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of ATL media campaigns (TV, radio, OOH, d‑OOP, and more).
  • Collaborate with internal teams and media partners to ensure campaigns deliver against business objectives.
  • Build and maintain senior‑level client relationships, providing insight, strategy, and direction.
  • Drive new business opportunities through networking, pitching, and proposals, while maintaining a strong commercial focus.
  • Mentor and guide account teams, ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as an Account Director (or Senior Account Manager) within a media or strategic agency environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Above‑The‑Line media channels and campaign planning.
  • Track record of managing high‑value accounts and delivering results.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confident, strategic thinker who can translate client objectives into effective ATL media campaigns.
