Applicants must meet the following requirements :
- Bachelors’ degree in Construction Management, Port, Civil or Coastal Engineering or relevant fields
- 10 years’ general working experience with at least 5 years’ experience in port construction projects
- PrEng will be advantageous
- Track record of successfully implementing port projects
Specific professional experience :
5 years’ professional experience in the construction of large (above EUR 15m equivalent) marine infrastructure projects, with strong preference for port development, maritime works including dredging and / or reclamation as well as transport logistic platforms (preferably in ports), and including works implemented under FIDIC General Conditions of Contract.The project works would form part of port expansion project that typically comprise of dredging and reclamation, a quay wall and apron, terminal yard and buildings.The Construction Project Manager will be required to oversee and coordinate the management of the various FIDIC construction contracts but will not be responsible for administration of the contracts.Ensure project compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards and specifications.Position
