Overview

AI Operations & Strategy Engineer — Location : Remote (South Africa).

Responsibilities

Manage and refine prompt engineering strategies.
Monitor and optimise AI resource usage and costs.
Develop evaluation frameworks to ensure reliable AI outputs.
Train and enable internal teams on AI best practices.
Contribute to the AI product roadmap and future features.

Requirements

Proven experience in AI engineering or machine learning operations.

Expertise in prompt engineering and model optimisation.

Knowledge of AI / ML APIs (OpenAI, Anth, Gemini).

Experience building evaluation frameworks for AI quality.

Strong documentation and collaboration skills.

Programming experience in Python is a plus.
