Job descriptionNQF Level 5+ Computer Science or a related IT qualification. 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development. Strong understanding of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preference will be given to citizens from the SADC region who are resident in South Africa. Obtain a competent rating on the ZTQ Solutions’ battery of recruitment assessments, covering : Assessment 1 : Cognitive skills (online, multiple-choice) Assessment 2 : Math (online, multiple-choice) Assessment 3 and 4 : English comprehension (reading and audio) (online, multiple-choice) Assessment 5 : Software development (practical) Zip 1 : Contains your cover letter and curriculum vitae containing TWO references THAT YOU AUTHORISE US TO CONTACT by virtue of your application. Zip 2 : Contains all relevant tertiary-level certificates together with their transcripts (if relevant). Zip 3 : Contains your RSA ID document (or passport and proof of residents’ status, if you are not a permanent resident of SA). Select the Job option called : PHP Software Developer. Junior to Senior PHP Developer
We are seeking talented and experienced Junior to Senior PHP Developers to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for coding and a strong understanding of PHP development principles and the software development life-cycle. S / he will also be proficient in designing and implementing database solutions. This role will involve collaborating with our team to design, develop, and maintain a PHP-based application that meets our clients' needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Interpret and refine software specifications.
- Develop, test, and deploy a high-quality PHP application that interacts with the database to create dynamic web pages.
- Design and develop database schemas for applications.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement solutions that meet project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest PHP development trends and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Write and maintain software documentation.
