Job descriptionPerform mechanical repairs, maintenance etc. Ensure correct lubrication and greasing of machines Ensure preventative maintenance – lubrication, service checks & cleaning Conduct regular lubrication inspection according to OHS standards Check and oversee oil levels, leaks, oil spills and cleaning of filters Carry out repairs on equipment within the mechanical workshop Maintain housekeeping in accordance to the mechanical workshop standards Adhering to all health and safety requirements related to observing equipment and machinery to verify efficient and safe operation Provide assistance to artisans Grade 12 or equivalent with mathematics and physical N2 Technical Certificate 1-2 years’ working experience in a same or similar role within a FMCG environment 2 years’ experience with the use of hand and power tools is essential Knowledge of the correct usage and application of mechanical maintenance materials Computer literate (Microsoft Office & Shopware) Flair for applying practical engineering methods Ability to solve technical problems Ability to working in a high speed and high stress environment Ability to work on heights and confined spaces Ability to safely use power tools such as drills, grinders, circular saw and welding machine Reliable and a team player Excellent time management skills Engineering / Technical jobs
