The role
The purpose of this role is to actively promote and sell parts, tools, and service to support customers in alignment with their needs in an efficient manner.Key Performance Areas
Actively promote, sell parts and services to support customers with their needsIdentify and follow up on sales opportunities to convert quotations to orders in-line with customer needsProcess customer orders timely, expedite, and follow through until the order is delivered.Maintain a high level of proactive call availability and follow-up activity to produce a high level of output to reach sales targetsResolve system and / or order issues as and when picked up to support customers in planning production and maintenance activitiesReport and escalate customer critical orders / inquiries to the Logistics and / or Technical Solutions teams and keep the customer informed of progress on such escalated orders and / or inquiries.Generate and disseminate relevant reports to specific stakeholders (e.g. back-order report etc.)Conduct cold calling to acquire new customersProfile Required
Matric / equivalent qualificationRelevant post Matric qualification is advantageousSales experience in a mining environment is advantageous3 -5 years’ experience in the customer call centre in a fast-paced sales environmentKnowledge of the processes, tools, and techniques for selling goods and services over electronic channelsAbility to organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks under tight time constraintsAbility to communicate effectively with stakeholders in writing and / or verballyHigh level of professionalism, honesty, and integrityAbility to analyse data and provide insightsComputer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)English proficiencyPhysically and medically fit to work in a mining environmentValid driver’s licenseSales / Retail / Business Development  jobs
