Job descriptionA Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1–3 years’ experience in a financial operations or reconciliation environment (preferred) Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.) Proficiency in basic accounting systems (e.g. Sage, Xero, SAP, or similar) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numeracy skills Strong attention to detail, accountability, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and under pressure in a deadline-driven environment Own reliable transport and a valid South African driver’s license Familiarity with SQL or database query tools Previous experience reconciling transactions in multi-PSP or high-volume environments Experience with automated reconciliation tools or scripts (e.g. Python-based) Exposure to South African financial regulations and banking practices Excellent verbal and written English communication High levels of professional discretion and confidentiality Proactive attitude with a drive to continuously improve Strong teamwork ethic with the ability to work cross-functionally Accounting / Financial Services jobs
