Business Systems Analyst

Job descriptionRelevant degree 2 or more years relevant experience Proven ability to solve complex problems Financial data analysis skills Exposure to programming or scripting Knowledge of market instruments and processes Experience with order management or trading systems Experience with unit trust fund accounting systems SQL and programming skills Problem solving skills Dealing with complexity Documentation skills Planning / organising and coordinating skills Interpersonal skills (Interaction with different business divisions and level of management) Communication skills (verbal and written) Solutions driven Strong analytical skills Strong numeracy skills Industry specific knowledge
Responsibilities
- Develop business requirement specifications
- Develop business processes and contribute to system design
- Develop functional and technical specifications
- Develop system integration specifications at the data level
- Analyse and test systems as part of investigations and system changes / upgrades
- Monitor and improve daily system controls
- Monitor and ensure business and market data integrity
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Work with the Vendor and IT implementation teams to implement change
