Our client is looking to employ a Communications Specialist.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Communication Planning
  • Identify target audiences / tailor communication messages
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate communication efforts across all marketing channels.
  • Content Creation and Management
  • Work with internal Copywriter to produce clear, concise, and compelling copy for marketing material, press releases, blog posts, and newsletters.
  • Client Relationship
  • Develop comprehensive communication strategies aligned with company objectives to effectively reach internal / external stakeholders.
  • Working with creative partners to create engaging and impactful content.
  • Manage media relations through PR Agency by pitching stories to journalists, responding to media inquiries, and organizing press conferences or interviews.
  • Develop crisis communication plans / manage communication during emergencies to protect the company's reputation.
  • Facilitate internal communication by organizing town hall meetings, developing employee newsletters, and ensuring employees are informed about company news and initiatives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors Degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing / Business or related field
  • 5-10 Years experience in customer relationship management, corporate communications, public relations / marketing communications
  • Familiarity with home loan products / mortgage lending processes / regulatory requirements is a plus.
  • Demonstrate ability to create high-quality written content for diverse audiences and channels.
  • Experience managing media relations, securing press coverage, and responding to media inquiries.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
