From 1964, Weylandts has grown into a leading furniture and homeware retailer with 9 stores nationwide. The brand is known for bold, confident aesthetics and timeless design. This role is for a Sales Executive based in Cape Town.

Role Overview

This is a full-time on-site Sales Executive role. You will drive revenue growth through exceptional customer experience, product knowledge, and a refined, consultative sales approach. You will consistently exceed sales targets, provide excellent service, and contribute to Weylandts’ brand vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Experience & Relationship Management : Deliver a world-class, personalised in-store and post-sale experience. Anticipate customer needs, guide product selection, and build lasting client relationships.
  • Sales & Business Development : Consistently meet and exceed individual sales targets. Pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting.
  • Operational Excellence : Independently manage the full sales process from prospecting to post-sale follow-up. Maintain showroom standards and ensure items are priced and displayed correctly. Mentor team members and promote the decorator / partner program.

What You Bring

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Relevant diploma / degree in sales, business, or customer service (advantageous)
  • Minimum 5 years of executive-level sales experience in premium retail, interiors, or customer-facing environments
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills
  • Technically inclined and comfortable using multiple business systems
  • Available to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle essential
