Role Overview
We’re seeking a Growth Engineer to own the entire customer acquisition funnel for a single product category from the first ad impression to the post-purchase experience.
You’ll be the architect of scalable growth systems for your product category building AI-powered workflows that seamlessly connect pre-click creative strategy with post-click conversion optimization. Think of this as running a business within a business – you’ll have complete ownership of growth for your product line.
As a single-person growth team for your category you’ll use AI tools as your force multiplier building custom Claude Projects and GPTs specific to your product, creating automated research systems and developing testable frameworks. You’ll go deep on your product’s unique customer psychology use cases and market position to unlock growth opportunities others would miss.
This role is perfect for someone with entrepreneurial DNA who wants to learn how to build and scale a focused growth engine from the inside out. We’ll give you the playground resources and mentorship to develop those skills while driving massive growth for your product category.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Click Engineering
- Build AI-powered research systems to mine customer insights specific to your product's audience
- Create custom GPTs / Claude Projects trained on your product's unique selling points, customer objections and use cases
- Design and test creative hypotheses across formats tailored to your product's customer journey
- Develop a comprehensive swipe file of competitors and adjacent brands in your category
- Partner with designers and editors to rapidly test and scale winning creative concepts for your product
Post-Click Engineering
Architect landing page systems (e.g., listicles advertorials etc.) optimized for your product's specific customer psychologyTest multiple offer structures to find the optimal configuration for your product (bundles, single products, GWP, tiered discounts)Build AI workflows for generating product-specific story-driven sales copy at scaleCreate conversion optimization playbooks unique to your product's purchase patternsOwn your product's entire post-click experience from landing page through checkout and post-purchaseDeep Product Mastery

3-5 years in growth marketing, performance marketing, or related roles (DTC strongly preferred)Proven track record of driving measurable growth with limited resourcesDemonstrated AI proficiency : you already use Claude Projects, custom GPTs, and AI workflows dailyExperience across the full funnel from creative strategy through conversion optimizationStrong analytical skills with experience in GA4, Shopify, Meta Ads Manager, and testing toolsExcellent copywriting abilities or proven experience directing AI to produce high-converting copySystems thinking with examples of frameworks or playbooks you've createdExperience with both paid social (Meta, TikTok) and landing page optimizationUnderstanding of unit economics (CAC, LTV, AOV) and how to optimize for profitabilityAbility to go deep on product knowledge and customer psychologyBonus : Experience with supplements, health / wellness, or subscription businessesBonus : Technical skills (basic HTML / CSS, tracking implementation, automation tools)Bonus : Experience managing a product line or P&L responsibilityWillingness to travel to Bend or other west coast locations 1-2 times per year for on-site meetingsEmployment Type : Full Time
