Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Client Revenue Governance to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. In this pivotal role, you will lead our client revenue governance initiatives, ensuring financial integrity and compliance whilst driving strategic growth.Develop and implement robust revenue governance processes and policiesOversee client revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and accounting standardsLead a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to drive performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise revenue streams and identify growth opportunitiesConduct in-depth financial analysis and prepare comprehensive reports for senior leadershipManage client relationships, addressing complex revenue-related queries and issuesImplement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risksDrive continuous improvement in revenue management processes and systemsLiaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as requiredQualifications
Matric, Diploma or bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fieldProfessional certifications such as CFA, FRM or MBA are highly desirableMinimum of 10 years' experience in revenue management or related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership roleProven experience in product controller, financial management, analysis, and reportingStrong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and financial regulationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detailAdvanced proficiency in Excel and financial software applicationsDemonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environmentOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in client-facing rolesSolid understanding of risk management and compliance in financial operationsExperience with data analytics and strategic planningAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities effectivelyTechnical Knowledge or exposure to Market Risk Front Office, Trade Desk, and Global Market Products to drive the required outcomes.Additional Information
